What is the difference between the "Internet" header and the "message" header in Microsoft Outlook? PDF Print E-mail

The Internet header contains the full routing of the email as it travels from its origin to its destination, as well as the fully qualified email address of the author and recipients. All of this information is stored in one place and is viewable in Outlook in the “View  Options” menu. The message header, on the other hand is simply Outlook’s interpretation of specific fielded information, i.e. what Outlook visually displays message header metadata in the gray bar area above the full text of the an email.
