All Iris collections experts must have significant experience (5 years or more) and attend and pass formal forensics training as a prerequisite to becoming a member of our collections team.  This training is fully credentialed by The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE) and requires demonstrated competency in the use of forensic tools for preserving and acquiring electronic evidence.  Addtionally, all collection experts must have obtained their Certified Computer Examiner certification (CCE) or have already been accepted into the CCE certification process and working toward earning this certification.  Our procedures follow Department of Justice guidelines for handling electronic evidence, and chain of custody procedures are strictly maintained throughout the entire collection process to ensure ultimate defensibility and authenticity of the data at all times.
